Thinkquest library has about 7000 websites created by students to study various topics under several subjects. These were all entries to the competitions held every year. But,I find them all extremely useful for any student under 19 years of age to study while having fun. Choose an educational category that you are interested in,and perhaps you could also team up and create a useful website for this year's competition.
Online libraries are a plenty, but to find the right resource by subject, and grade, teachersfirst is definitely useful.Teachers need to find excellent web resources to keep their students engaged in the classroom using web 2.0.This site is useful for parents and students as well.Keyword search feature allows you to find the required topic as well.Busy educators can make good use of the rich resources available.
Teacher resources are aplenty on the web,but my favourite free resource is learner.org. Online interactives, video on demand subject wise and grade wise content are all at your mouse tip.Resources found are for K-12,college and adult. So,take your pick, keep on learning and keep your brain active, for learning is a lifelong process and keeps your grey cells from aging. It is part of The Annenberg Foundation.
I stumbled upon a website with links to excellent resources on the net and very aptly titled libraryspot. Links to encyclopedias, maps, dictionaries, english grammar, journals, speeches, homework help and several more references from online libraries are on the main page.
